Who will be the best fish and chip shop in 2019?

Who will be the best fish and chip shop in 2019?

In 2017, the National Fish & Chip Awards were held and we were proud to have been named the best fish and chips shop in Kent, among the top two in the South East and London region, and Top 20 in the UK.

Read our blog about the awards here.

We hold this title until next January when there will be a new competition to find out who will be the best fish and chip shop for 2019.

We congratulate the other shops on last year’s achievements and wish them luck for the upcoming awards.

It’s not a competition – the idea is for all of us to try and get up to a good standard and to continue to improve. But this time around, we still hope to claim the top spot for the best in the UK.

The award is just one of 15 categories in the 2018 National Fish & Chip Awards – fondly known as the ‘Oscars of the fish and chip industry. Competing shops have their frying skills put to the test as well as being assessed against a variety of judging criteria. They’re scored on their menu development and innovation, sustainable sourcing policies, staff training processes and marketing activity.

We invite you to follow us during the upcoming awards and join us in our quest for the top spot.

Special thanks to Kent Live News for their lovely article about our achievements. Read it here.
